Davin previously helped build two Internet start-ups. In 1997, as part of the original business development team at Intraware , a pioneer in online digital media distribution, he was integral in helping the company achieve a $2+ billion market cap and $50 million in annual revenues. After Intraware, Davin joined as VP of Business Development and one of the first employees at EQuill, an early social web discovery and annotation company that was acquired by Microsoft. He started his career in Investment Banking at Montgomery Securities (acquired by Banc America Securities) where he led equity financings and mergers and acquisitions for emerging Internet companies including CBS Sportsline. Most recently, Davin led corporate development initiatives at 3Com, where he was responsible for transforming the company from one with commodity products and declining revenues to a company with consistent revenue growth and a leadership position in high-growth market segments including VoIP, WLAN and Security. Davin serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for Hands On Bay Area , a Bay Area non-profit where he previously served as the Board Chair and Treasurer. He received a Bachelors degree in Economics with honors from the University of California at Berkeley. Jesse has led the development at three early-stage Internet start-ups. Most recently, he was an Architect at Snapfish , a leading online photo-sharing service, before and after they were acquired by HP. Prior to Snapfish, Jesse was the first employee and a Lead Architect at PhoneSpots (formerly PocketThis), one of the early companies delivering web content to mobile phones. He was also an early employee and a Lead Architect at Firefly Networks in 1996, which was a pioneer in developing collaborative filtering technologies and one of the first online communities. Firefly was acquired by Microsoft and became the Passport online service. Jesse stayed on at Microsoft and led the development and integration of Passport with Hotmail. He started his career at Xerox Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) where he filed four patents and patents pending. Jesse received a Masters and Bachelors degree in Computer Science and a Bachelors degree in Theoretical Mathematics from MIT. Debarshi was most recently a Lead Architect at PhoneSpots (formerly PocketThis), where he briefly overlapped with Jesse. He managed a global development team and led the rearchitecting and development of the company's latest solutions in local search and advertising for the mobile market. Previously, Debarshi was a Lead Developer at Brience, an Internet and mobile applications developer acquired by Syniverse Technologies. Prior to Brience, Debarshi was a software consultant at Proxicom where he developed web-based applications for Global 1000 companies. He started his career as a software engineer at Access Softek Inc. Debarshi has a Bachelors degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley. With a keen artist's eye, Sydel Sakuma thinks that everything looks better through a lens of a camera. When she's not making the world more interesting, one eclectic outfit at a time, she moonlights as a cupcake engineer. A mother of one (fat) cat, she was born on a rock in the Pacific Ocean, but now resides in San Francisco. She is attending the Academy of Art University to get her Masters in Advertising. Before that she lived in Orange County where she attended Chapman University in the the very small, very old, Olde Town Orange and studied Public Relations, Advertising and Art. Her favorite celebrity (right now) is Kristen Stewart, of the Twilight fame, because she never ceases to do or say the unexpected. As Co-founder and CEO of Metreo, Daphne led Metreo from it's inception in 2000 through 2006, overseeing the company's business, product strategy and direction. During this time, Metreo was two-time Deloitte Consulting Rising Star award winner, recognized as one of the top vendors within the Supply & Demand Chain Exectuive 100 as well awarded #1 Fastest Growing Private Company by the San Francisco Business Times in 2004. Metreo was acquired by Symphony Technology Group in February 2006. Prior to Metreo, Daphne was the Vice President of Marketing at Netscape/America Online (AOL). While at Netscape/AOL, Daphne played a key role in repositioning and revitalizing Netscape from a browser company into an enterprise software company, driving efforts that grew the E-Commerce Application Division from $5M to over $70M in 18 months. Prior to Netscape/AOL, Daphne was Director of Marketing at Healtheon/WebMD where she pioneered the marketing and business model for first true transaction-based B2B platform. She previously held marketing management positions at Silicon Graphics (SGI) and Logica Data Architects. Daphne received her MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brandeis University with BS in Mathematics.
