Glass Artist Kathy Jenkins to Create Official CVA Gifts

The Palm Springs Desert Resort Communities Convention and Visitors Authority (CVA) has selected a striking piece of Kathy Jenkin’s fused glass art work s to be one of the official client gifts offered by the CVA this year.  Jenkins’ work was placed in contention for this commission by LQAF, along with several other artists, when contacted by Convention Services Manager Jan Drover, who was seeking unique gifts for potential convention and meeting buyers who come to the Coachella Valley to conduct  site inspections of our hotels and meeting facilities.

Kathy Jenkins moved from Big Bear, CA to Trilogy La Quinta two years ago, where she creates functional and decorative glass pieces for the home.  She has created glass tile backsplashes for rustic mountain homes, as well as platters, plates, lighting sconces, and many other items that reflect her love of the mountains, ocean and desert.  Kathy has participated in Art Under the Umbrellas for the past four years.  Learn more about Kathy Jenkins on her website .
