magazine catch on Les baer - The M1911.ORG Forums Site
With some of my magazines you really have to slam them home to get them to catch while other snap right in place. Happens with some Wilsons and some Metalform. Gun runs fine. With the magazines you have to slam home makes the magazine catch button hard to push. Will this problem get better? The catch is numbered to the gun and I really don't want to send it in for a minor repair. I have a spare some where and I think it is a Sig brand magazine catch. I don't want to do any filing or polishing on the factory part because Baer it plan if you or someone else works on a part the warranty is voided. Has anyone ever heard of this problem before?
