First day of new jobishness went well. Factory work can be demanding in alot of ways though this job was'nt what I expected, let me explain: I work for Nelson Packaging in Lima Ohio, they basicly do work for Proctor and Gamble. There's a multitude of lines in this place with people filling various bottles with product (mainly Tide or other laundry detergents) or reprossessing the products. Should the bottles be defective or someother thing. I'm still learning what goes on there so I can't say to much just yet. But mainly I spent my entier day at a cardboard bailer tossing boxes in to me smashed....for 8 straight hours. The hardest part was the standing around since time passes more slowly when you have nothing to do.... Oh well I go back in tomorrow to work anywhere between 6 to 10 hours so it could be an interesting day.

Current Mood: calm It's a 10hr gig for $7 an hour, you work 4hrs, get a 15min break, work 4 more hours get a 43min lunch only to work 2 more hours and go home. Even Tippi agrees it's not worth it. I might be getting into DTR a factory that pays better and has more reasonable hours, plus I know I don't have to ask weather or not I get to come in the next day. Stacy put it best, seeing the people who work at this factory it seems like a Prison release program. When I'm not working I'm off hiding somewhere with my face buried in a book. The Employment agency offered me another job at the same factory Stacy's mother works at so I'm thinking of jumping ship since the pay and hours would be a heck of alot better.
