A worried Becky later offers to make a top but Josh says she makes "dowdy" dresses and her demographic is "like 40 to death". He then says that wasn't meant as an insult but Becky's definitely upset. She's also worried everyone thinks her designs aren't cool and fresh. Back to the task - the winners are Anthony Ryan, Viktor, Bryce and Josh M and their teams will have to create three cohesive new looks for Heidi's New Balance sneakers. The winning look will be manufactured and sold by Amazon as part of Heidi's line.
Maybe that policy could be adopted before school lets out for summer 2012 so purchasing decisions could be made early. Maybe standardized school attire will prevent fancy sneaker envy, short skirt chasers and fights over low waistbands.
Seriously, tennis shoes?! I second the sneaker and sandle thing. I also wish they'd dress like alter boys again in cassock and surplice, not the silly “monk look- alike” robes. But my real pet peeve about altar boys/girls is their demeanor.

The wedding is somewhat formal, and my husband and I are dressing up (He is wearing a suit, and I’m wearing a nice cocktail-type dress)… but I don’t want my toddler to be hot and uncomfortable and I don’t want to spend a fortune on something he is going to wear one time…

Um. . .I would try to go off of what you already have. . .as long as he’s clean and looks put together, nobody is going to care what a toddler is wearing. I think a short sleeved button down is fine, paired with a pair of pants. Do you maybe have a friend or family member you could borrow something from so you don’t have to buy something new for one occasion? Or maybe head to a thrift store.

We’re going to a wedding this summer as well, and we’re planning on a button-down with khaki shorts and brown sandals. What else would he really wear? I know that men don’t usually wear shorts to weddings, but I’m more concerned about him being comfortable. Most people won’t think anything of it to see a kid dressed a little more casually.
There is a second-hand store in my town (not Goodwill or Salvation Army) but an actual children’s second-hand clothing store; and they have some of the cutest suits for toddlers, priced about $ 5.00 each.
I would suggest checking your local phone book for something similar in your area. He can wear the suit once and then you can sell it back to the second hand shop when you’re done. If they don’t have anything in stock, ask them to be on the lookout for you and call you if they get something in.
